A call for Action !

BELONGING RECTO_edited.jpg

Dear Colleague,

A year back, we felt a call and we started to weave together our needs, hopes and practices as we were personally deeply heartbroken by the separation, the aggression and the raw madness we are living in.

The HeartBeat workshop ‘BELONGING IN ACTION’ was born out of months of committed explorations and co-creation. We are emerging from our first pilot with a large international group of dancers in Belgium and we were amazed how the work was met and how meaningful and relevant it was to ignite heart activism in a grounded and accessible way.

We are reaching out to you to help us spread this body of work and bring it to your community. This is a 5 day Heartbeat workshop that, we feel, brings the dance to the streets.

So what is this workshop about?

“When confronted with the chaos and violence in the world around us, we might feel a lot… Sometimes, it is too much to bear… We might shutdown, or freeze in powerlessness or become very angry and burn from the inside, feel guilt or shame, confusion, isolation… and ask ourselves the same question over and over again: what can I do?

These edgy times might teach us not so much about what each of us can do separately and more about the power of togetherness and choice. Our choices and actions emerging from a deep sense of belonging.

BELONGING

Remembering where we come from, the cycles of the cosmos, the seasons, the land.

Connecting with each other, and the ever changing, dynamic and reconfiguring world around us.

Synchronizing together, being held in the spaciousness of a bigger field teeming with life, plants, animals, rivers, mountains, ancestors…

Each of us bringing our uniqueness, our abilities, and our dreams… All of us gathering and helping each other to give shape to what our hearts are longing for, finding hope as an action verb, in service of the collective.

IN ACTION

We will embody the dynamics of separation and connection, the pulse of life, through rituals.

We will dance. Movement offers a universal language, creating a bridge between you and me, bringing us together. Our body, emotions, and mind come together allowing the soul to seed creative action and celebrate our life force.

We will invoke elements of nature and our ancestors from the dawn of time, their experience, and the resources they can offer us to sustain our actions.

Together, as activists of the heart, belonging to a field of connections and creative action in service of the collective.”

Who are we and what are our practices?

Adi Argov, 5Rhythms Wave and Heartbeat certified teacher, senior clinical psychologist specialized In trauma work, full time human rights’ activist in an hellish part of the world (Israel Palestine), founder of the ‘Daily file’,  ‘Forcibly involved’,  and ‘Silence is a crime’ projects.

Re-inventing ways to hold trauma minded space for conscious movement through war time.

Cecile Klefstad, 5Rhythms Wave and heartbeat certified teacher. Systemic constellations and Embodied trauma work certified facilitator.  Permaculture practitioner. A godmother to Ibrahima, a Guinean refugee.

Re-inventing ways to re-connect dancers with the collective wisdom and to re-member the bigger field through rituals and journeying.

We met through the dance, have been friends for more than 15 years and have co-created numerous workshops together.

It takes a tribe to create change and we hope that you are moved to support this endeavor. We are looking forward to set up a zoom meeting to discuss further how this workshop can address the needs of your tribe. Please let us know how you receive this call for action and/or who you think we could reach out to?

With love and gratitude, Adi & Cecile

A few testimonials out of the 4 day pilot in May 2026 in Belgium.

An international, diverse group of 32 dancers heard the call and joined us on this adventure :-)

"A 4-day workshop that has restored my faith in humanity. This deeply caring and welcoming space, beautifully held by Cecile and Adi, became the ground for many individual and collective healings. Their different invitations inspired a dance that became truly alchemical: burdens grew lighter or dissolved altogether, and movement taught us new ways of being in the world. Feeling surrounded, welcomed and truly seen in my sadness, discovering my different tribes, awakened my sense of belonging and my desire to engage more deeply with the world."

C.

"A four-day journey through unexpected depths and feelings. A human and authentic experience.  Cecile and Adi created an alchemy between the participants through their intelligent and delicate support.

Shaking and inspiring 4 days!"

F.

"Dans le collectif créé tout pouvait exister et co-exister, le monde a besoin de toutes ces formes, émotions et énergies (feu, air , eau, terre…).Nous avons pu prendre appui sur le collectif pour passer à l’action en nous engageant déjà dans nos danses."
